Found a ladies XS coat in the Rothwell tent
Has anyone reported their coat lost or stolen?  It has house and car keys in the pocket but no other identifying feature.
If any of your members has lost their coat and keys, please contact Paul at pschoward@ibbotson.me.uk to arrange for its return.

PECO Cross Country League (2017/18): Race 5 (Temple Newsam)

Race Date: Sunday 11th February 2018

Race Times & Distances:
Junior XC Challenge (School Years 2- 6): 10.00am, (1 mile approx.)
Junior XC Challenge (School Years 7 - 12): 10.20am, (2 miles approx.)
Seniors (16 and over*): Men 11.00am; Women 11.10am (4.7 miles approx.)

Race Location: The race will take place entirely within the grounds of Temple Newsam Country Park, Leeds. LS15 0AE.

Registration: The race HQ will be set up in The Stable Courtyard area, at Home Farm. The junior race is £1 and the senior race will be £3. Registration will be open from 8.45am – 9.45am for juniors, 9.00 – 10.45am for seniors. There will also be toilets available at the registration area  in the Stable Courtyard. The café will also be open early for the race, opening at 9am.

Car Parking: There are several car parks available for our use in the grounds of Temple Newsam. We are advising runners to use the free car park near Home Farm (car park 4 on the car park map). This is accessed by taking the left hand fork after entering the main gates to the park. car park 1 is available if arriving from A64 York Rd   Other car parks are available if these becomes full, but take note that the car park nearest the house (car park 3) is pay and display.

The Course: See course maps below. The start and finish are in front of the house on the large field. Due to a few muddy sections, we would advise runners to wear trail shoes or studs. The Senior and Junior 2 mile course are not suitable for spikes. The Junior 1 mile race is OK for spikes. The Senior course is a multi-terrain, undulating, with a mixture of trail, grassy sections and woodland paths. There are some steep ascents and descents. Some sections that can get very muddy with possible standing water if there has been a lot of rain, and through woodland areas, there are exposed tree roots, and leaves underfoot.

After The Race: Post race refreshments: A cup of soup and a filled roll will be available after the race, to be served in The Lady Hertford Suite, which can be accessed from The Stable Courtyard. Please note that muddy trainers will have to be removed before entering the building.
Results will be published as soon as possible on the League web site.
