Race Location 

All races will take place within the grounds of Roundhay Park. 3 miles N.E. of Leeds City Centre.  Race HQ is outside the visitor centre alongside Mansion Lane, LS8 2HH. 

Registration will be located in the courtyard outside The Mansion.
Race start & finish all take place on the Park below Roundhay Mansion.

Car Parking

Parking is on nearby street alongside Park Avenue / West Avenue – please use this rather than the public car parks and car share wherever possible.

Public Transport

Bus routes – from Leeds City Centre

  • No 2 & 12 buses stop along Princes Ave.
  • No 13/13A stop at the nearby junction of Roundhay Rd & Princes Ave.

Toilets

Toilets are available at The Mansion which will be open from 9:00am. 

In addition, there are toilets at the Lakeside Café which will be open at 10.00am – approx. 5 min walk (see course map).

Polite Notice - It is essential that participants use the toilet facilities provided. Public urination at Roundhay Park is not acceptable and will seriously jeopardise future events at this location.

Warming Up

Refer to the course map – please be considerate and stay well clear of the junior runners who will be running between 10.00am and 10:40am.

The Courses

The junior course is a new course (see course maps) entirely on grass. It no longer goes up Hill 60 or onto Soldiers Field.
Junior 1+2 mile

The senior course (below) is a mixture of grass, woodland trails and includes some short sections on concrete paths – which means that spikes are not advisable.

Gazebos
In the event of strong winds or gales the park have requested that Gazebos are not used. This will be advised early on race day. Please note that it is the responsibility of those who are erecting gazebos or tents to ensure that they are secured appropriately: use enough tent pegs and guy ropes to make sure that there is no danger of them collapsing or blowing away!

Post-Race Social (From 12:00pm) – *** New Venue ***
Venue: North Leeds Cricket Club, Old Park Road, Roundhay, Leeds, LS8 1JX
Approx 1.0 mile from race venue. Limited car park and street parking available.
Soup and a roll, selection of cakes and a wide selection of drinks at the bar will be available.
Please do not wear muddy footwear within the club.
